lum9a command center is a local-first Chrome extension that adds a command palette to supported AI chat websites.
Data Stored Locally
lum9a command center may store the following data locally in the user’s browser using chrome.storage.local:
- saved prompts
- saved snips/context blocks
- project profiles
- extension settings
- active profile selection
This data is stored locally on the user’s device.
Data Not Collected by lum9a
lum9a does not collect, receive, sell, or share user data.
lum9a does not use:
- user accounts
- remote databases
- backend servers
- cloud sync
- analytics
- tracking
- advertising pixels
- AI API calls
Temporary Page Reading
Some features may temporarily read visible page text in the browser.
For example:
- /meter may read visible conversation text to estimate context usage
- /handoff may read recent visible conversation text to create a handoff template
- /clean may process selected text to clean formatting
- /clip may save selected text only when the user chooses to save it
This processing happens locally in the browser.
Conversation text is not sent to lum9a.
User Control
Users can delete saved prompts, snips, profiles, and settings inside the extension.
Users may also remove local extension data by uninstalling the extension, depending on browser behavior.
Third-Party AI Websites
If a user inserts text into ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, or another AI website and submits it, that text is handled by the third-party website according to that website’s own policies.
lum9a does not control third-party AI services.
Remote Code
lum9a command center does not use remote JavaScript, remote WebAssembly, analytics scripts, tracking scripts, external APIs, or remote executable code.
